Union Soccer Ohio is a premier youth soccer club based in Perrysburg, Ohio and is built on the 45+ year foundation of Perrysburg Soccer Club. With a focus on player development, community engagement, and fostering a positive environment, Union is committed to providing a world-class soccer experience.
Union is more than just a soccer club; it's a dynamic family that offers flexible playing options designed to suit every lifestyle. Embracing multiple playing formats, including tournament-only, league-only, or a hybrid of both. Our club ensures that every athlete can engage in the sport they love.
Club Standards
Union strives to create a player-centered environment of respect, integrity, and growth. These standards are for the players, parents, spectators, and coaches. We must all do our part to create a culture of excellence.
Players
Come to practice and games prepared mentally and physically
Arrive on time (early is on time) and address the coach on arrival
Act with good sportsmanship and abide by the rules of the game
Accept decisions of referees; their decisions are final
Do not join in violent play before, during, or after games/practices
Shake hands with opponents regardless of results
Leave fields and benches clean
Come to games and practices with a positive attitude
Come ready to work hard and have fun
Parents
Agree that attendance at a game is a privilege
Accept decisions of referees; their decisions are final
Respect other spectators, coaches, referees, and players
Be a soccer fan, not a fanatic
Recognize and respect the effort made by both teams
Celebrate victory modestly and accept defeat graciously
Will not interfere with instructions given by the coach
Will remember that everyone makes mistakes and that's what helps us learn and improve
Will not talk about frustrations with the coach until 24 hours after a game
Coaches
Will be licensed with the United States Soccer Federation and complete ongoing education
Will attend all practices and games or have an alternate Union coach in emergencies
Arrive to all games and practices early to prepare and greet players
Must have a training plan for all practices
Will be proactive and open with communication with players and parents
Will wear Union gear at all trainings and games
